FlixBus Launches New Route Connecting New York to Richmond via Allentown

++New service enhances transit options for Lehigh Valley 

DALLAS, October 10, 2024 — FlixBus, North America’s fastest-growing intercity bus service, today is launching a new route connecting New York City to Richmond, Virginia, with key stops in Allentown and Easton, Pennsylvania. This service will provide much-needed transit link for the underserved Lehigh Valley region and connect it with major cities including Philadelphia, Newark, and Washington, D.C. 

The new route features direct bus services from the Allentown Transit Center to New York City’s Midtown stop (31st Street and 8th Ave) and from Allentown to Philadelphia, with convenient day-trip options thanks to an evening return service.—This addition makes the route ideal for both commuters and adventurers. For the first time, travelers from the Lehigh Valley can also enjoy a direct, transfer-free route to Washington, D.C. and Richmond, significantly expanding their travel options through FlixBus' extensive national network.

• Philadelphia, PA (199 Spring Garden Street) 

• Washington, D.C. Union Station 

• William Penn Park and Ride in Easton/Bethlehem, PA 

• Richmond, VA (2910 N Arthur Ashe Blvd - October 10-28) 

This service will operate with one trip in each direction four days a week, with departures from New York on Fridays through Mondays, and from Richmond on Thursdays through Sundays.
